Thomas Shane Taylor, born October 26, 1970 passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in Reno, Nevada. After graduating from Moapa Valley High School in 1989, Shane moved to Reno to attend UNR where he received a degree in Geological Engineering. Shane had a successful career as an aircraft detailer in the Reno Valley, but lived for the outdoors. Shane enjoyed everything outdoors, but above all, he enjoyed hot springing in the buff.
Survivors are: parents Thomas and Kathern Taylor, Moapa Nevada; siblings Morgan (Missy) Taylor, Ridgefield Oregon, Dustin (Lilian) Taylor, Spring Creek Nevada, Clarissa (Tom) Woolcott, Kotzebue Alaska, Deborah (Matt) Hunt, currently stationed in Germany, Heather (Danny) Green, Las Vegas; and grandparents Garn & Orissa Hirschi of Las Vegas and Mildred Taylor of Provo Utah.
A memorial service will be held at the Moapa LDS chapel Friday 18, 2008 at 6pm where all are cordially invited to attend.
