Moapa Valley Progress
The Moapa Town Advisory Board will meet on Thursday, January 31 at 7:00 p.m. in the Moapa Community Center.
The Board will hear a request from Hidden Valley Glendale, LLC. for a Major Project First Extension Of Time for a draft neighborhood concept plan for a mixed-use comprehensive planned community and identification of related issues of concern to Clark County, affected property owners, and the applicant on approximately 914.0 acres in an R-U (Rural Open Land) Zone and an R-A (Residential Agricultural) Zone. Generally located west of Interstate 15 and ¾ of a mile south of State Highway 168 along the Muddy River.
Another zoning request will be heard, made by Glendale Holdings Company, LLC, for a Zone Change to reclassify 3.9 acres from H-2 (General Highway Frontage) Zone and R-A (Residential Agricultural) Zone to C-2 (General Commercial) Zone for the expansion of an existing commercial development. Also a request for Waivers Of Development Standards for the following: 1) off-site improvements (excluding paving); 2) reduce setbacks; 3) landscaping and screening requirements; and 4) parking space design and layout standards. Finally a request for a Design Review for a new convenience store and restaurant building and expansion of an existing gasoline sales facility with a canopy over fuel pump islands. All generally located on the north side U.S. Highway 91, and 2,000 feet east of State Route 168.
In General Business, the Board will hear and update on drainage and presentation of the Specific Plan for the Riverview project.
