Nephi Jensen, 77, a life long resident of Mesquite, Nevada passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on October 24, 1930 in St. George, Utah to John Jensen and Christina Abigail Abbott.
Nephi Married Arlene Thurston on July 1, 1949. He greatly appreciated a good horse. He raised horses, enjoyed hunting and loved being with his family. He is survived by his wife Arlene of Mesquite, NV; his sons Bruce (Pam) of Sunnyside Ranch, NV, Theron (Chris) of Mesquite, NV, Kevin (Tina) Tina of Mesquite, NV, Shane (Kathern) of Mesquite, NV; a daughter Valerie of Mesquite, NV; two sisters Bodil (Dave) Bundy of Bunkerville, NV and Gertrude (Guy) Bowler of Gunlock, UT; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Whipple Chapel. Visitations will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whipple Chapel and again on Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Whipple Chapel.
