Moapa Valley Progress
The Moapa Valley Art Guild announces a unique opportunity to local artists and art enthusiasts alike to gain insight and sharpen their skills on the subject of “Perspective,” that elusive and scientific way of making objects on a flat drawing seem to recede toward the horizon. A seminar will be given on Thursday, February 21, by renowned local artist and art teacher, Max Bunnell.
Bunnell has been teaching art in the area for over half a century, first at Moapa Valley High School and then at various colleges. Although he is officially retired, he enjoys being active and sharing his talent, skills and insight with other artists.
The workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Art Room at the Old Logandale School. The cost of the workshop to participants is $20 for those who are not members of the Moapa Valley Art Guild, and $15 for members. Anyone interested in attending this workshop please call Flo Lund at 865-2808 to sign up.
Anyone who is not a member of the Moapa Valley Art Guild but would like to be, is invited to join. Dues are $15.00 per year. Join us and get some perspective!
