The Moapa Valley Community for Substance Abuse Wellness (CSAW) will hold its annual board meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Old Logandale School.
The board will hear reports assessing the recent CSAW activities. These include presentations at local town boards and a recent assembly at the Moapa Valley High School regarding the dangers of methamphetamine abuse.
The board will also discuss strategies for conducting its ongoing community drug/alcohol abuse survey. CSAW plans on administering a survey to MVHS students later this month. Board members also are seeking opportunities to administer surveys to a wide range of local adults.
The board will discuss its work with local support groups and youth counseling programs.
