The Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza is known for their pre-July 4th celebrations. This year is no exception. Over the past several weekends the Travel Plaza has been hosting large celebrations which provide live bands, food and fun. In addition a great fireworks show is presented at the end of the evening. | were able to set off their own fireworks on the provided launchpads throughout the evening as well.
Plenty of vendors were on hand with a variety of different items. A few included homemade jerky, fresh picked cherries as well as handmade items. Another pre-4th celebration is planned for this weekend; Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28. The fun starts at 7:00 p.m. with the fireworks show starting at 9:00 p.m. A final grand celebration will be held on July 4.
