Cappalappa Family Resource Center (CFRC) made a generous donation to the Jim Boyles Senior Center on Thursday, June 19 in the form of six $100 gas cards. With rising gas prices the senior Center Meals on Wheels and other senior transportation programs have been feeling the pinch. “This is very much appreciated.” stated Senior Center Director, Ruth Callwell. CFRC was able to make this donation with part of a grant they received. The grant provided CFRC with funds set aside for the specific assistance of individuals. Gas cards for the Senior Center definitely falls under that category. |
