OBITUARY
Benjamin Mahler
Benjamin Franklin Mahler, 75, of Overton, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008. He was born November 21, 1932, in Rupert, Idaho, and resided in Nevada for 44 years. He retired as a slot shift manager from several casino’s. He was a great guitar player and loving husband and gather. He was preceded in death by is son David; parents; four brothers; and four sisters. Benjamin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alta; sons, Steven and Danny; daughters, Sandi Cockburn, Susan Mastarone, Shelley Bells and Anita Herrera; brothers Reuben, Lud and John; sisters, Katherine Knopp and Rose Surmont; 19 grandkids; and 24 great-grandkids. A memorial service was held Saturday, July 12, at the family home in Overton.
