Moapa Valley Justice Court Criminal/Civil Calendar was heard on Wednesday, July 16.

Defendant – Jack Russell Charge – Petit Larceny: Pled guilty, ordered $250 in fines.

Defendant – Miranda Eaton- Charges – Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia: Defendant appeared in court in custody. Previously pled guilty to charges was placed on probation, failed to appear for status check and was subsequently arrested. Given 20 days credit for time served, released from custody and ordered to complete terms of probation. Status check scheduled for September calendar.

Defendant – Daniel R. Torres- Charge – Battery: Submittal entered, ordered to attend and complete impulse control counseling, pay $90 fine, complete 50 hours of community service, stay out of trouble, and restitution to be determined. Status check scheduled for August calendar.

Defendant – Tonya L. Pillus- Charge – 2 counts Burglary, 3 counts Possession of Credit Card without Consent of Owner, 3 counts of forgery: Defendant waived right to preliminary hearing, case bound over to 8th District Judicial Court.

Defendant – Terry Gettle- Charge – Disturbing the Peace: Submittal entered to Disorderly Conduct. Order to stay out of trouble for three month period.

Defendant – Elizabeth J. Campbell- Charge – Child Abuse/Neglect, DUI: Defendant appeared in court with attorney. Child Abuse/Neglect charge dismissed, pled guilty to DUI. Ordered 32 days in the Clark County Detention Center, credit for 2 days served, 30 days to be held in abeyance for one year, 100 hours of community service, $580 in fines, attend and complete DUI Impact Panel and attend DUI school. Status check scheduled for October calendar.

Defendant – Michael Gerner- Charge – Using False ID of another: Defendant appeared in court with attorney. Waived right to preliminary hearing, case bound over to 8th District Judicial Court.

Defendant – Frank Dvorak- Charge – Battery Domestic Violence: Defendant appear in court with attorney for scheduled trial. After trial was held and all evidence submitted Dvorak was found Not Guilty by the court.
