OBITUARY:
Marshall Hovde
Marshall Clifford Hovde, age 91, died August 4, 2008 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born November 12, 1916 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Olaf O. and Christine Hansen Hovde. On June 29, 1940 he married Angeline De Muse in Minneapolis. She preceded him in death on December 23, 2005.
Marshall grew up in Minneapolis. In 1954 he moved his small family to Southern California where he worked for Standard Press Steel making aircraft parts. He lived in Las Vegas for 12 years, Mesquite for six years and finally in Overton for the past year. He was an avid hunter and he enjoyed all sports, especially baseball, golf and bowling.
He is survived by his son, Robert of Overton.
Private services will be held. Arrangements under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
