OBITUARY:
Jean Mulholland
Jean Elizabeth (Sindona) Mulholland, age 95, passed peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Highland Manor in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born May 12, 1913 in Manhattan, New York. She was married to Robert Bruce Mulholland in Florida. He passed away in 1998.
Jean lived most of her younger years in New York. She lived in California for a short time, until her husband’s work relocated the family back in New York. During the 90’s, she moved to Florida, then following her husband’s death, she moved to Las Vegas to be near her daughter, before finally settling in Mesquite, Nevada. She loved the New York lifestyle, she loved the busy city life. She will be remembered for her big heart and her desire to give service to her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Leonore (Ivan) Potoski of Overton, NV; granddaughter, Gabrielle (Donny) Small of Bakersfield, CA; two great grandchildren and one sister, Julia Larsen of Bronx, NY. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
A funeral mass will be held in her honor on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 9 a.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Pioneer Hill Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary, 702 398-3600.
