| Jody Lee Friend was born June 29, 1975, in Fresno, Calif., and she peacefully passed away in her sleep on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009. Jody was a person who had a great big heart for everyone and everything and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her father Benton Gill and step-mother; her three children, Cody Quinn,Alexa Friend and Blake Friend; her siblings, Michele and Randy Graves, Andrew and Lourdes Porter, Jackie and Jimmy Williams, John and Lisa Wiggins, Jerrie and Tom Burckes, Buddy and Donna Gill, Kenny and Sabrina Gill, Janet and Shorty Daskowski, Jody and Kay House, Warren and Mary Quinn; 20 nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. |

| Jody was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Wiggins; and sister, Amy Jo.
Parker Mortuary, Joplin, handled the services. |
