4H Summer Camp Meeting To Be Held

4-H Camp will be held August 16-21 on the shores of beautiful, cool, South Lake Tahoe. All youth ages 8-12 years old (as of Jan. 1, 2009) are invited to attend. Science and engineering, crafts, water sports and lots of good food are the main attractions at the State 4-H camp. Teen counselors and staff are already planning the activities that will keep the youngsters engaged and busy throughout this five day adventure.

Prospective campers from Northeastern Clark County are invited to a special camp orientation meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 2 at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Office on 1897 N. Moapa Valley Blvd. at 6:00 pm. Attendees may bring any questions they may have about the camping program. Cost, transportation and possible fund raising to help campers with the camp fees will also be discussed.
