Downtown Beautification

	Last week, Clark County Public Works crews completed a project at the intersection of the Moapa Valley Blvd and Cooper Street in downtown Overton. The project included a new welcome sign for the area which was funded by county grants through the Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce. The county also widened Cooper Street at the intersection, installed a curb and sidewalk on the east side of the street and lined the walkway through the island with decorative curbing. The local coordinator of the project was volunteer Kurt Lytle of Overton. The sign was designed by Audree Lytle and youth from the LDS Overton 4th Ward helped on the landscaping.
