Terrill J. Bond, 77, died July 31, 2009 at the Utah Valley Medical Center in Provo, Utah, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
He was born September 13, 1931 in Meadow, Utah to Clinton Jesse and Medra Alice Labrum Bond. He married Iris Charlesworth February 9, 1951 in St. George, Utah and was later solemnized in the Manti Temple December 28, 2002. He is survived by his wife, children: Sharla (John) Starley, Meadow, UT; Jan (John) Frampton, Fillmore, UT; Terrill Lynn (Lynette) Bond, Meadow, UT and Carma (Mike) Hodges, Holden, UT; 14 Grandchildren, 20 Great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Junior L. Bond. He served as President and board member on Meadow Irrigation & Canal Company. He worked for Wycoff Company 21 years including being a Supervisor. He was nominated Driver of the Year with the most miles without an accident. Later on he bought his own truck and hauled many loads of hay to California. He was a member of the LDS Church serving on the Boy Scouts Committee, Sunday School Presidency, and Home Teacher. He will be remembered for his love for the elderly with his many visits and phone calls. His grandchildren will cherish their memories of the many camp outs, Ute Stampedes, trips to Disneyland, horse rides, deer hunts and the cabin he built for family get togethers. He always had a treat in his pocket and a story to share. He had a great love for his country and wasnt afraid of sharing his views. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 8, 2009 at the Meadow, UT Ward Church, 108 E. Center at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may call at the Meadow Ward Church Friday, Aug. 7, 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, August 8, 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services.
