One of the favorite attractions was the baby joeys. Little Hannah from Troop 67 was very afraid of all the animals. But when she saw the little joeys her heart melted and she even held one of the babies.

The Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors Girl Scouts learned about carbon footprint and how to reduce their carbon footprint, made solar ovens, planted grass and flower seeds in bio-degradable egg cartons, learned about compost and how to make a compost bin in their own backyard and they made mats and change purses out of the plastic grocery bags that you see all over our deserts. |
