Lost City Museum Holds Gala Event To Open New Exhibit

The Moapa Valley Art Guild is sponsoring a workshop with local artist Lynn Rigoni on Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m. in the Art Room at the Old Logandale School (OLSHACS). Ms. Rigoni will share various watercolor techniques, and also show participants how to roll a design on tile.
Rigoni has been a Moapa Valley resident for 11 years. She has been painting for 30 years. She is a signature member of the Nevada Watercolor Society, a charter member of the
Local artist Lynn Rigoni
National Museum of Women in the Arts, also a member of St. Mary's Art Center and the Moapa Valley Art Guild. She donates her time teaching
children and adults in rural areas throughout the Western States and Mexico.
The workshop is open to the public. The cost of the class will be $20 for MVAG members and $25 for non-members. If you would like to attend, please reserve a space for yourself by calling Jackie Worthen, 397-8789, or Zona Tobler, 397-2660. Attendees are asked to bring a sack lunch and watercolor supplies. If you are just starting out with watercolors and don't have a lot of supplies, no problem: come anyway, and we will be happy to share materials to get you started.
