Mildred Venita Dee Burke (Grandma Millie) passed away at her home in Grace, Idaho Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the age of 96. She was born August 19, 1913 and had two sons. Millie spent her winters in Overton until she moved with the Delmar Leatham Family to Logandale in 1984.
She was in the Overton 2nd Ward, Logandale 2nd, 4th, 5th, and then 1st wards.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Gary (Karen) Burke, Bill (Eloise) Burke with 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, two sisters, Edsel Prescott Rosales and Earlene Smith Bunker Sprague Williams.
Grandma Millie was soon adopted for the winters by Delmar, Joan, Mica, Paul (Katey), Ciara (Blair), Samuel (Lyric) and Kaitlin Leatham. Other families who adopted her were Mark & Diane, Jessica, Jennifer and JD Whipple, Elaine (Jay) Whipple, Gilbert Valerio, Melodie, Spencer, Ronnie, Regina, Jonathon and Sonya Valerio, Joe & Louise Culler Family, Carol Jolley Family, Don & Dottie Adams Family and Connor, Saun and Linda Bohn, Ivan Jones Family, Garry & Clarene Hunt Family, Vaughn & Susan Evans, Therral & Judy Jackson, Deanna Berchtold, Glen & Cheryl Rawson, Joe & Tosha Rawon Family, Brian & Lisa Rebman Family, Richard & Wendy Mulcock Family, Ivan & Lory Wollenzien Family and so many others who showed service and love to this special woman. Special Thanks to Dr. Terry & Sandy Leavitt and Dr. Gregg Nielsen Family and Dr. Gorman and staff for all the kind acts of service toward Millie during her life in Logandale.
Funeral arrangements will be through Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs, Idaho, with services on July 2, 2010 at the Bench Ward in Grace, Idaho.
