(Letter to the Editor)
I would like to personally thank all of the wonderful families of Moapa Valley who have hosted exchange students this year through EF Foundation for Foreign Study.
We thank the host families who have graciously opened their hearts and home to our EF Foundation students. It was an unforgettable year for the students here at Moapa Valley High School.
The students were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in a new culture, returned home with new perspectives and broadened horizons. They will always have a special bond with their American families and friends.
I would also like to thank the administrators, teachers and staff at Moapa Valley High School for welcoming our students into their schools for an American high school year, and for helping the students not only improve their English but also their life skills.
To everyone in the community who has spent time with an exchange student as an advisor, youth group leader, coach or friend you too have made a positive impact on their lives.
As our exchange students returned home, they took with them a part of the spirit and character of the people of NV. On behalf of the students and staff of EF Foundation, our warmest thanks to those who have helped to make this the greatest year of their lives!
