It was Virgin Valley taking on the two time defending 2A State Champs Meadows in Las Vegas Saturday night and pounding them 47-6. The Dawgs finished with 312 yards rushing and 90 in the air for a total of 402 yards.
Boulder City scored all 15 of their points in the 4th quarter to beat River Valley Arizona 15-5. Boulder had 132 yards rushing and 35 in the air for a total of 167 yards.
In the north, Dayton beat Fallon 14-7 at Dayton. Walker threw for two touch downs.
Lowry crushed South Tahoe 40-7 in South Tahoe. Billingsley rushed for 281 yards on 23 carries and four touch downs.
Sparks jumped out to a 24-0 lead then coasted for a 24-13 win over the Vaqueros of Fernley. Fernley drops to 1-2 while Sparks is 3-0 heading for a show down with Truckee next week.
Spring Creek beat Wooster in Reno 31-14.
Truckee used five different players to score Saturday as they beat the Indians from Elko 34 -0. Truckee lead 20-0 after the first quarter and 27-0 at the half.
