Post Office “Remodel” and Pirate Volleyball

Drive-in mail service nearly became a reality when someone driving a vehicle with a huge clearance bumper smashed into the wall next to the parking lot at the Logandale Post Office. Police continue to investigate.

Pirate Volleyball traveled to San Bernardino, CA to participate in one of the largest high school volleyball tournaments in the country. 66 teams were invited and the competition was as good as the Pirates will see anywhere. “We went into the tournament to learn and to have some fun. There are some great teams, so realistically we know that Saturday’s draw will end sooner than later,” Pirate Coach Adams stated. “I felt we looked good at times, but also discovered several things we need to work on.”

This feature is made possible by the Old Logandale School Historical and Cultural Society archives and the gracious assistance of Beezy Tobiasson.
