Lyon Middle School will be hosting a community blood drive on Thursday, September 23 from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the lunch room of Lyon Middle School located at 179 South Anderson Street in Overton. The community is encouraged to give blood at this drive to help patients like Boyd Applegate battle leukemia.
Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment online by visiting www.unitedbloodservices.org (sponsor code: lyon) or by calling Mr. Meyer, blood drive coordinator, at 702.397.8610. Walk-ins are always welcome.
