I’m surprised and saddened when people I know and respect announce they’re voting for Harry Reid. One, Larry Adams, compares Reid to a basketball player who scores most of the points for the team (Experienced Leader Is Needed: Progress, October 20, 2010). The problem with the analogy is this: Reid is scoring points for the other team! What good is experience if it’s used to help Obama harm our nation?
The constitution now hangs by a thread because of the bills Reid has shoved down our throats. He has used his position to grow his personal wealth and has done little or nothing to help our state or the nation.
I have not let Harry down by not “communicating my personal position with regard to the issues he has had to deal with.” I’ve sent numerous letters and emails to Harry over the years. In response I get condescending letters that make it clear he thinks I’m an idiot who doesn’t have the vast knowledge he does about the issues so I should just shut up and let him do what he wants to do.
Sharron Angle is a much better candidate than Harry Reid. But even more important, she’s not likely to sell out the country to push a socialist agenda.
I enthusiastically supported Angle in the primary and I continue that enthusiastic support today. Harry Reid is just to extreme for Nevada and our nation.
