Soccer: Moapa Valley will host both the boy’s and girl’s Southern 3A tournament. The tournaments start at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
The first game will feature the boy’s second seed, the Meadows (3-1-2) versus the third seed Virgin Valley (2-3-1).
The second game will feature the girl’s second seed Virgin Valley (1-2-1) and the third seed Moapa Valley (0-3-1) at 4:00 p.m.
The third game will feature the boy’s top seed, Boulder City (5-0-1) and the fourth seed Moapa Valley (0-6-0) at 6:00 P.M.
The championship game will be played Saturday with the Girl’s game at 12 pm and the boy’s at 2:00 P.M. The Champion from each will qualify for the state tournament next week in Reno. The North will qualify their top three in each.
Volleyball: Virgin Valley hammered the Lady Pirates in three games 25-5, 25-12, and 25-13. The Bulldogs have now won 11 in a row and is the #1 seed headed into Friday’s Division Championship tournament at Virgin Valley.
Friday’s first match will feature the second seed Boulder City versus the third seed Moapa Valley. The winner gets regular season champion Virgin Valley at 6:00 P.M. The Champion will qualify for the state championship next week in Reno. The north qualifies their top three.
