Bowler Students Create Exploration Mural
Students from Grant M. Bowler Elementary, under the direction of Art Teacher Clint Brill, gathered at the school to create a student generated mural on the backside of the portable classrooms. The mural is based on the theme “Exploration”. The students designed the mural using their own artwork, and spent the better part of a year coming up with the final design, which Mr. Brill sketched out and the students painted.

New Covered Picnic Pavilion
The newly covered picnic pavilion at Overton Park saw its first big event, hosting the “Welcome Back Snowbirds” picnic sponsored by the Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce. Over 300 people were at the event, enjoying the shade provided by the newly constructed pavilion, which was built by the Clark County Department of Parks and Recreation. The pavilion covers several picnic tables and boasts ample lighting for evening functions.
This feature is made possible by the Old Logandale School Historical and Cultural Society archives and the gracious assistance of Beezy Tobiasson.
