The Library Angels completed another successful Annual Book Sale. The M.V. Library staff would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Jo Tame, Craig Tame, Nan Thompson, Colleen Webb, Bonnie Coopman, and Jackie Worthen for volunteering their time to organize this year’s sale. Because of the dedication and involvement of these Angels, the library will be able to provide the young people of our community with fantastic programs and lasting memories!
Many thanks also go to the community for purchasing so many books and audiovisual materials. You all deserve a pat on the back for supporting literacy in our community!
The proceeds collected at the sale benefit children’s programming, such as the Halloween Carnival, which drew 100 children, parents, and caregivers this year. The remainder will provide refreshments for the Annual Holiday Open House to patrons of all ages and a visit from Santa Claus for the kids.
The Holiday Open House is scheduled for December 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—hope to see you there!
