The Moapa Valley High School Lady Pirate Basketball team traveled to Spring Valley on Monday, January 10 and triumphed over the Lady Grizzles; 52-50.
Ashley Noto led the lady Pirates with 16 points while Amanda Campbell finished with 13 points.
Head Coach Swanson was not at the game as he served his suspension from Friday night’s two technical fouls. But Swanson said that Campbell is now averaging 19 rebounds per game leading the state.
The Pirates led 19-15 after the first quarter. Then 28-24 at the half.
The Moapa lead was cut to one by the beginning of the fourth quarter.
The Pirates went 14 for 32 from the line for the game. The Grizz went 11 for 23.
