Those people, from outside our borders, who wish to destroy us, have done just that. And I can hear most of you saying, “Oh, no they have NOT!” But yes! Yes, they have. They’ve succeeded in causing us to both fear and to question our own surroundings. Because they can. And it’s wrong for us to give them that much power.
Our lovely short-sighted government tightens the noose around the necks of my few remaining freedoms every time there is a new law enacted that constricts my very existence. Bear with me.
Our lawmakers are elected, allegedly, to be our representatives in D.C. Well, I for one, don’t see it. They do not represent me, not even a little bit! And yes they do know what I believe “Washington” should be doing! I call the White House and Harry’s office a lot. And I believe the call screeners know my voice now, as I’ve begun to get “attitude” when I call.
Remember the Fourth Amendment? It says that I need not fear being unreasonably searched and/or seized. Refer, please, to the new federally enhanced airport screeners. Instead of a private security company (perhaps the one I work for), being in charge of giving some of us the jobs to secure our air travel, your tax dollars pay a huge bureaucracy to abuse those of us whose only offence is that we need to travel. They’re chasing the ghosts of major offenders and law breakers, by having us remove our belts, shoes, shampoos, prosthetic limbs and devices, etc., etc., instead of going to the sources of those criminals and their heinous crimes.
Have you called your “representatives” and told them these airline interlopers will not repeat the same scenarios twice? They haven’t so far.
We need to stop them from boarding our aircraft in the first place. If a ticket is bought with cash, one way, by a person with no luggage, (and in at least one case, no passport), pull that person aside. Not me and you. I don’t care what color he is, or how often she prays. Pull that person out and demand some real answers. This “politically correct” bias against me the citizen has simply gone too far.
As long as terror groups can see that ‘we the people’ have this overt fear of defending ourselves against them, in their eyes, they win.
