The Moapa Valley High School track teams traveled to Shadow Ridge High School on Thursday, March 24, to compete in the weekly tri-meet against Shadow Ridge and Cheyenne High Schools.
The Boys team won the competition by a score of 82 to Cheyenne’s 58 and Shadow Ridge 46.
Josh Thompson won both the 3200 and 1600 meter races.
Bowen Call won both the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles.
Chase Whitter won the 400 meter run.
Hayden Cooper, Brandon Johnson and Parker Chappell finished first, second and third respectively in the triple jump.
The relay teams also had two teams winning the 4×4 and 4×8.
The girls team finished third with 38.5 points behind Shadow Ridge with 95 and Cheyenne with 52.5 points.
The 4×1, 4×4 and 4×8 teams finished in second. Chelsie Olige finish second 100 hurdles and triple jump. Ashley Noto finished second in the 300 hurdles.
