The Lady Pirates were beaten by the Cimarron Lady Spartans 10- 3 on Tuesday, April 5.

Rachel Dalley was 2-3 in the contest for the Pirates. Cimarron scored three in the 1st then two in the second to take a five nothing lead.

Moapa mustered 3 hits in the game and scored one run in both the 2nd and 3rd innings.

Cimarron pushed the lead to 10-2 in the fourth and fifth innings with three more runs, then two more. The Spartans had seven hits for the game. Causey took the loss for the Pirates.

On Wednesday the Ladies hosted the Cheyenne and were beaten 27-11. The Pirates had two hits and eleven runs trailing 15-11 going into the sixth.

Then the bottom fell out as the Shields scored 3 in the sixth and 11 in the 7.

On Thursday the Lady Pirates travelled to Sunrise Mountain and were beaten 22-19 in this high scoring match up. Moapa had 16 hits in a very windy game. Sunrise had 26 hits in their win.
