LETTER: Education Not The Place To Cut

I would like to address the issue on making the school year shorter. It is really uncalled for.

Everyone says that the kids are the future. If we are cutting education funding so much how is anyone going to advance in anything? There are other places they can cut the funding. They should also try and re-district Clark County because Clark County is the fifth largest district in the United States.

They should tax alcohol and cigarettes. The people who are alcoholics or smoke should have to pay more to support their habits. It could benefit both the state and the clear pollution in Nevada. It doesn’t do the kids in Nevada any good if you keep cutting from their education.

By the end of 2015 there probably won’t be any public school, because we won’t have enough funding.

This issue has to be addressed by the people in Nevada. If we don’t get education there is no hope for anyone in the United States.
