Rose Swansen, director of the Dancing in the Desert Competition held on Saturday, April 30, surprised the Lil’ Pirates cheer squads last Monday with a trophy for All Star Team Spirit. Swansen told the girls that because they went above and beyond sportsmanship, they deserved a larger trophy.
