(NDOW) The beat goes on in the Overton Arm as anglers continue to find fast action for striped bass. Nothing huge but fish nonetheless. Swimbaits in various shad patterns have been catching the fish.
The action has been somewhat slower in the Boulder Basin, though anglers have experienced good nighttime fishing under submersible lights.
The Vegas Wash arm is still producing fish on cut anchovies and lures though most fish are on the small side.
Catfish activity has picked up as well, with the late afternoon and evening hours most productive. The whisker fish are taking cut anchovies, sardines, stink baits and even corn.
Fishermen are still finding largemouth and smallmouth bass in the backs of coves. With the water level rising, flooded brush should provide good cover.
