Tiffany’s Pies and Subs held its second free local event in the Wally’s Plaza parking lot on Friday night, June 10. About twenty people, including children, teenagers, and adults, attended this fun, family-friendly event.

Attendees brought chairs or blankets and claimed a spot in the parking lot. Once everyone was settled, Disney’s newest animated film “Tangled” was displayed on a white screen for everyone to see. Tiffany’s supplied free popcorn and ice cream was on sale at half off.

Tiffany’s first event was in April. A band featuring local youth came and performed for the attendees. According to Tiffany’s owner, Scott Carson, these outdoor activities have gone over well. They plan to continue holding similar events for the community in the Tiffany’s parking lot so long as people keep coming.

“We have fun doing this,” Carson said. “It’s good to have people get together and have a good time.”
