For many years now Sugar’s restaurant in downtown Overton has recognized state championship teams at Moapa Valley High School by hanging a signed championship jersey on the wall of the restaurant for all to see. Sugar’s has served as a meeting place where former team members and coaches can take their families and tell the story of that championship year.

Recently members of the 2010-2011 MVHS Boys Basketball assembled at Sugar’s to help add the newest jersey and photograph to the collection.

The State Champion Moapa Valley Boy’s Basketball team now hold its well deserved spot of honor on the Sugar’s wall.
