Bumper Vegetable Crop
A bumper vegetable crop was still being produced by Vito Amedeo in his Main Street garden center in Overton. He is pictured here with part of what he considers a record size radish crop. The red radishes measure about six inches in length and in circumference. Amedeo credits the large growht to the numerous kinds of fertilizer he uses in preparation.
