Elayne Muhlestein Eastman
Elayne Muhlestein Eastman 82 of Mapleton, UT passed away from heart problems on Sunday July 31, 2011. Elayne was born in Provo, UT to Joseph B Muhlestein and Juanita Russell. She was the second of seven children.
She graduated from Lincoln High School in Provo in 1947. In 1951 she married Harman Levi Eastman and enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage with him. They spent most of their lives in Utah County with a few retirement years in Mesquite, NV and lastly in Mapleton, UT. She devoted her life to her family and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in countless callings and church organizations.
She was blessed with 5 children, 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Elayne will be remembered as a very caring and selfless person whose ever present happy and positive attitude was contagious to everyone she met.
Funeral services were held in Mapleton on Saturday August 6, 2011. She was laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, UT.
