CSN Classes Start Soon

Classes at the Moapa Valley center of College of Southern Nevada (CSN) are set to begin on August 29. It’s not too late to register for one of the many Fall classes being offered through CSN.

This semester the center is offering a variety of courses to help local students meet their general education requirements for an Associate’s degree.

For example Sociology 101 instructed by John Pulver will be held on Tuesday nights to help meet the social science requirement. In addition

Political Science 101 taught by Rendel Esplin will be held on Monday nights to meet the Nevada Constitution requirement.

The college will also be offering Communications 101, an introduction to public speaking, with Sim Jensen on Tuesday nights.

Also offered will be Music Appreciation 101 taught by Vernon Robison on Thursday evenings.

These classes are just a few of many scheduled to begin next week.

Call the center at 398-7545 for more information or stop by the office in the building behind Moapa Valley High School. But hurry before it is too late to register!
