Blair Bruce Perkins

Blair Bruce Perkins, age 38, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born July 13, 1973 in St. George, Utah to Bruce Gentry and Nancy Lee Grover Perkins. On February 14, 1992 he married Desiree McFarland in Moapa, Nevada. They had three children and were later divorced.

Blair lived most of his life in Overton, Nevada. He graduated from Moapa Valley High School where he played football and wrestled. He took pride in his work as a journeyman construction carpenter. He loved to be in the outdoors, hunting, hiking and exploring. He was proud of his heritage and will be remembered as a kind, loving, gentle man. He loved the simple life of being on his beloved home and farm that he was born to. He loved his children and always was willing to lend a hand.

Survivors include his three children: Ashley of Roosevelt, UT; Aaron and Cody of Mesquite, NV; parents, Bruce and Nancy Perkins of Overton, NV; grandmother, LuDean Grover of Archer, ID; three brothers and one sister: Gentry of Overton, NV; Lane of Kanab, UT; Tommy of Overton and Tamara (Michael) Tuttle of Gilbert, AZ. Funeral services were held Monday, August 22 at the Overton LDS Chapel. Interment was in the St. Thomas Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
