OBITURAY: Glen Van Beveren III
Glen Van Beveren III
Glen Van Beveren III of Las Vegas, NV passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011. He was born to his proud parents, Glen and Marlene Van Beveren, on June 12, 1982.
Glen was a very inventive young man. He was extremely loving and compassionate, always concerned for others. He had a great love for learning, and always wanted to know a little bit about everything.
After moving to Logandale as a teen, he quickly developed a love for dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, the lake, and snowboarding. Glen also gained a great talent in the art of jiu-jitsu and had a love and compassion for animals unlike any other. He was very proud of his career as a heavy equipment operator for the mining industry, a job he enjoyed for the past 12 years. More than anything, he loved being with his nieces and nephews. Nothing made him happier! He always was and always will be loved by his three sisters and dear parents! We will always remember that smile, laugh and HUGE hug!
Glen is survived by his parents, Glen and Marlene Van Beveren, sister Mindy Davies (Dustin), sister Amy Robinson (Ryan), and sister Kim Van Beveren, three nieces and three nephews, two grandmothers, Marie Sanders and Sandra Meschnark, one grandfather, Glen Van Beveren Sr. (Joyce), and many, many family and friends.
A viewing will be held at the La Paloma Mortuary on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. (5450 Stephanie St. Las Vegas, NV 89122) Private family funeral and burial services will take place in Utah.
