Constitution Day Events To Be Held
The Quintilian School of Oratory will be holding a special Constitution Day event at the Overton Library on Saturday, September 17. The event will begin immediately after the V.F.W. flagraising ceremony which is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. The event is free to the public.
The events will include a 10 minute simulated 1787 Constitutional Convention debate. Also brief speeches on the U.S. Constitution and its accompanying historical events will be presented by MVHS Government teacher Charlie Cooper and Logandale resident Raina Stump.
Activities will be available for the children.
