Office staff, family and Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce members gather at the new dental office of Dr. Cody Hughes in Logandale for a ribbon cutting event followed by an open house event.
The Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce held a brief ribbon cutting ceremony at the opening of a new dental office in Logandale on Thursday, October 6.
Immediately afterwards, pediatric dentist, Dr. Cody Hughes, held a grand opening of his office in the former Curtis Family Dental office adjacent to the Logandale park. Hughes welcomed members of the community to see the new office and meet its staff.
Hughes, a native of Mesquite, now lives in Las Vegas and teaches a pediatric curriculum at the UNLV Dental School. He has been seeing patients in Mesquite on Fridays and will now be scheduling patients in the Logandale office for Fridays and Saturdays.
“We hope that we can get to the point where we will expand the office hours and be out here a lot more,” Hughes said.
Hughes is sharing the office with Dr. Vernon Pollock, an orthodontist out of Mesquite. Pollock, who already has many patients in the community, had already been keeping limited office hours in the building when it was under Curtis Family Dental. Those appointments times will now be available once again to local residents, he said.
Appointment with Dr. Hughes may be scheduled by calling 702-371-1829.
Appointments with Dr. Pollock can be scheduled by calling 397-2100.
