Jeffrey Nelson

Jeffrey Scott Nelson, a 1984 graduate of Moapa Valley High School, was promoted September 17, 2011 as Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM.

He has served in Germany, Maryland, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Colorado and Ohio. He holds a BS from University of Nevada, Reno in health science. He has master degrees from Central Michigan University in administration and Air Force Institute of Technology in Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction-Biological.

He now serves as Consequence Management Advisory Team Member, Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM.

He is the proud son of Kathy and Rodney Nelson of Overton.
