The local Clark County Parks and Recreation staff will be hosting a Kids Halloween Party at the Logandale Fairgrounds on Halloween night, October 31. The event is expected to be similar in scope to last year when the fairgrounds was filled with over 800 attendees.
Parks and Rec staff say that the event will once again feature more than 20 trunks sponsored by local businesses and individuals for kids to “trunk or treat” and get their fill of candy.
The event will also include a haunted house and kids games operated by students from the Mack Lyon Middle School National Junior Honor Society and Beta Club. Other activities wil include a climbing wall, bungee chords and giant water ball pond. Hot dogs and chili will also be available for attendees to keep the energy level high.
The party will begin at 5:30 and run to 7:30 p.m. The cost of admission is one bag of candy per family. There is a suggested donation of $1 to enter the haunted house. All other activities are free.
