Dianne Sosa

Dianne Mitchler Sosa passed on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her home in Overton, Nevada. She was born December 26, 1973 in Appleton, Wisconsin. She lived most of her life here in the valley, where she graduated from Moapa Valley High School. She later married her high school sweetheart, Ricardo Sosa and had three children, Anthony Jovan, Aiden Alexander and Mia Raine Sosa.

She was a fun-loving spirit that loved the outdoors, painting, family and above all her children. Much of the town knew her by her employment at the Moapa Valley Federal Credit Union.

Dianne was very dearly loved and cared for by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband and children, her mother, Barbara Ann Gockstetter of Alabama, three brothers: Jerry Mitchler, Jr. of Overton, NV; Richard (Jackie) Mitchler of Hortonville, WI; Robert (Melissa) Mitchler of Las Vegas, NV and one sister, Linda (Donald) Vanden Hogen of Little Chute, WI; In-laws, Ramon Q. and Maria of Moapa; one brother in law, Ramon (Rebecca) of Mesquite, NV and one sister in law, Mariluz (Jeremy) Perkins of Moapa. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Mitchler and one brother in law. She will be extremely missed!

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor at the St. John’s Catholic Church on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at noon. Visitation and Rosary will be Wednesday, November 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m at Moapa Valley Mortuary. A celebration of life will follow the funeral mass at the Old Overton Gym from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m. Friends and family are invited to sign the online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
