Logandale Resident Appointed as Northeast Area Liaison
Members of the Clark County staff announced that Matt LaCroix had been appointed as the new Northeast Liaison. LaCroix filled a vacancy left by Sue Baker who had served in the position for the previous ten years.
Baker had moved to Colorado.

Tribal Pow Wow Honors Veterans
Southern Paiute Veterans held a Memorial Pow Wow at the Moapa Tribal Cemetery on Saturday morning. The ceremony was the beginning of a two day commemoration honoring veterans from Indian tribes across America.

From Progress: November 13, 1991
The Moapa Valley Medical Clinic was acquired by the Moapa Valley Family Medical Center, Inc as of November 1. Laura Nichols, PA remained as Clinic Director, and Joseph Bush, MD remained as Medical Director. There were plans to expand the hours and services of the clinic as well as purchasing new diagnostic equipment.

Weather monitoring equipment for Moapa Valley has been moved to the Overton Power District property in Overton. Delmar Leatham is shown here checking the instruments.
