LETTER: Couldn’t Do It Without Help From Community
I wish to thank all of the valley residents for making the American Legion Veterans Day Parade a successful one again. All of the personnel I had contact with in setting up the parade; from Metro and NDOT to Clark County staff; were more than just helpful.
Traffic control and spectator safety were, and are, as always, a major concern of the Legion. Collecting the applications, advertising the event, staging, and the ending of this years parade would have been an impossible task if we had not had the assistance of so many people here in the valley.
The picnic after the parade was also a success thanks to all who gave their time and help in providing the food, setting up, cooking and serving, let alone the clean-up after the festivities.
Again thank you for all of the help we, The American Legion, received from our valley.
Commander Dennis Vance
American Legion Post 75
