Moapa Valley Progress

The Muddy Valley Wrestling Club program got its start last week. The youth program, not sponsored by the school is nevertheless geared toward Middle School and Elementary school aged kids.

The Moapa Valley program runs with the Southern Nevada wrestling association in Las Vegas. This organization hosts several tournaments around southern Nevada during the season which runs from now through February.

Practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights at 6:30 pm in the Moapa Valley high school wrestling room.

The youth program was started fifteen years ago and is run by volunteers who are former wrestlers themselves and who love the sport.

The costs of the program is $65 for a wrestling card which allows athletes to wrestle at any AAU tournament in the country.
