Lost City Museum To Hold Holiday Open House

The Lost City Museum will host its annual holiday open house on December 10 from 10 am to 4 pm. This free event will feature live entertainment. Light refreshments will be served. The museum will be decorated in festive, holiday fashion.

A raffle will take place at 2:00 pm with the proceeds going towards community outreach programs held throughout the year. The raffle will include gift baskets which make great holiday offerings. Raffle tickets will be on sale six for $5.00 or $1.00 each until drawing time. Ticket holders need not be present to win.

During the event, the museum store will be open and stocked with a variety of unique items including Native American jewelry, crafts and books. Photography by artist Anne Carter will be on display. Her show is entitled “a potpourri of photographs” and features beautiful paintings of nature and the southwest.

Bring family and friends and come out and enjoy the day at the historic Lost City Museum.

The Lost City Museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $5.00; children and members enter free. For more information, please call the museum at (702) 397-2193.
