Let the buyer beware, Dr. Long is selling the “snake oil” of safety through government at the expense of liberty (“SNHD Did NOT Crash A Private Party”: Progress, Dec. 7, 2011)

There will not or ever be a government bureau or its regulations that will make us or our food safe; it concerned and committed individuals that actually make it happen. I would rather take my chances on a bad day at the Quail Hollow Farm than at the safest SNHD inspected facility.

This is the language of the quintessential bureaucrat, make a note because it sounds reasonable and convincing. It is this perspective, along with “hope and change” that is destroying our Country because it stifles individual initiative.
